Assisting in projects involving software system integration and related consulting projects, IT Experts are required to work closely with our project teams and clients in order to support large, corporate manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related infrastructure initiatives guaranteeing a successful custom-engineered solution for our client. Strong practical experience and credibility is the foundation for the consultative elements of this position. Expected duties will involve a blend of high level architectural planning and hands-on high quality IT administrative work for critical systems. Duties will vary and may include planning architecture and implementation IT strategies for many computers and users with specialized technologies, purchasing, set-up and configuring hardware and software. The incumbent may also be involved in preparing training materials and training users.
Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 5 years experience and solid skills in:
- Demonstrating strong analytical thought processes
- Good working knowledge of network hardware (hubs, routers, switches, modems, remote access and Microsoft OS Technologies including Windows XP, 2000, Server 2003 and Vista)
- Scripting IT administration
