Brock Solutions
and Vanderlande Industries Recognized
by the Ontario Global Traders Awards Program
June, 2005-- Toronto, Ontario
On April 7th, 2005, at an awards ceremony in Windsor,
the Ontario Global Traders Awards program recognized Brock Solutions and
Vanderlande Industries with a Regional Award in the category of
Partnerships.
Brock’s strategic alliance with Vanderlande was established
with the specific aim of supplying turn-key Baggage Handling Systems to
large airports in the United States. In response to the tragedy of 9-11 and
the subsequent mandate of heightened security requirements at US airports,
Brock and Vanderlande teamed to integrate numerous Explosives Detection
Systems (EDSs) into existing Baggage Handling Systems (BHSs), as well as
provide complete systems implementations involving the design and deployment
of BHS and EDS systems at new terminals in airports throughout the United
States.
Regional award recipients were automatically considered for
the Ontario Global Traders Provincial awards program, which was held on May
16th, 2005, in Toronto.
At the Provincial awards ceremony the Brock/Vanderlande
business alliance was acknowledged with a Provincial award, again in
recognition of their partnership.
The Ontario Global Traders Awards program recognizes the
significant contributions partnerships bring to Ontario’s growth and
economic prosperity.
