In the process of moving “mountains” of materials such as coal, bauxite, iron ore, limestone, etc., stacker/reclaimers are required to perform to set performance standards covering a variety of operational parameters related to stacking rates and heights, reclaiming rates, slewing and luffing angles and ranges, traversing speeds, etc. With the equipment and associated drives and controls subject to constant wear and tear, meeting the performance expectations becomes a challenge.

Brock Solutions addresses the challenge by performing both full and partial automation upgrades/retrofits to Stacker/Reclaimers. Brock’s expertise further extends to include working directly with customers up front to determine the exact extent of an upgrade based on each customer’s desired functional requirements for Stacker/Reclaimer operations.

What makes us different from traditional approaches is our “zero downtime” implementation, which involves I/O emulation tests, customer “test drives” of systems during pre-installation Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and on-site installations that are implemented in parallel to existing systems to ensure minimal disruptions to scheduled operations.
