Universal Delivery Machines (UDMs) deliver inspection and maintenance tools to active nuclear reactors. The precise functioning of UDMs is vital to ensure nuclear operations are as safe as they can be and that the potential for hazardous situations is minimized. With UDMs and their associated automation controls systems subject to constant wear and tear, maintaining required levels of performance and safety can present a challenge.
