Changeover Strategy Expertise
Our emphasis on designing an effective Changeover Strategy
has proven successful for a
variety of customers in the Steel Industry. Dofasco, Stelco and Algoma Steel
Inc. are some examples of customers who have benefited significantly from
these processes. For each customer, Brock Solutions ensured that the
transition from an old to new system was entirely reversible and that the
upgrade process itself did not interfere with the existing system’s ability
to run.
Testing and Simulation
Brock
Solutions has demonstrated, in project after project, that judicious use of
simulation testing generates significant cost and quality assurance benefits.
We use various hardware and software simulation to validate the performance
of individual control components and integrated systems, set up regulators,
tracking logical sequences and to introduce new functionality. This approach,
combined with well-defined and rigorous Factory Acceptance Testing scenarios
involving the client, ensures that few problems will occur in the on-site
testing portion of the system.
