  • Issue: DIET project part of corporate initiative to automate all tobacco facilities (e.g., Central Primary Process, Green Leaf Threshing, ByProducts Plant Process) with tracking capabilities and automated transfer of plant-floor information to the enterprise-level system.
  • Requirement: A DIET Plant Process Information system to track DIET tobacco cases, automate data collection in the DIET facility, enable automatic production report generation for the DIET facility, and record the exact Net Weight of each case fed in at the ByProduct Infeed.
