Synopsis of Tire Equipment OEM’s Panel Builds for East Europe

  • Situation: A global-leading tire manufacturer expanded its manufacturing operations to include plants in Poland and Hungary. To support the expansion, a complete line of new equipment was purchased from an Ontario-based OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Equipment supplied by the OEM included rubber compound formulating and mixing machines, fabric/steel cord preparation machines, bead component preparation machines, and tire tread and sidewall extruding and tire building, curing, and inspectiion machines.
  • Brock Solutions' Role: Brock's panel shop was sub-contracted to provide the panels for the two new tire manufacturing plants.
  • The Panels: 16 main 4-door panels and a combined total of 441 operator stations and junction boxes fabricated to CE standards.
