Why Do Companies Use Systems Integrators?
Whether companies are manufacturing products, moving material from point A to B, or screening and sorting checked baggage, visibility into their real-time operations has become critical for tackling market challenges and driving value for their customers.
Harnessing that value is not as easy as it may seem. Systems in the real-time space – automation, MES, quality, etc. – are often isolated from other systems, and are, in some cases, near obsolete. And without a clear line of communication to the broader planning and resourcing activities, the feedback loop to operations is often missing. Value is derived from integrating these systems in a standardized, meaningful way so that operations can be optimized, decisions made quicker, using more accurate information, and regulations can be satisfied.
The role of the Systems Integrator is to make sense of this real-time space and to integrate the most effective technologies in a way that provides stable, sustainable solutions that will drive value to the bottom line.
What Does Brock Do?
Brock Solutions is focused on providing Systems Integration services in the real-time space for manufacturing, transportation, and logistics environments. Our job is to bring the required mix of skills and methodology to the table to help our clients extract value from their real-time operational solutions. This includes technical depth and delivery in automation (PLC, DCS, Drives, etc.), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), process and software design, and the ability to integrate these solutions holistically across our clients’ organization. This is not integration for integration sake, but true to our vision statement the solutions we implement are “measured by the success of our customers” and our ability to positively impact their businesses.
What it Looks Like in Real Life
In our experience, the best (and easiest) way to describe what Brock Solutions does and the value we bring as a Systems Integrator is to hear it from our clients and their real life stories.
