Cargill and Brock Solutions are excited to be kicking off an important upgrade project at one of Cargill’s largest, most complex Grain Terminals located in Vancouver, BC. Cargill, a leading worldwide provider of food, agriculture, financial and industrial products and services, operates in 67 countries and employs 147,000 people.
Brock is working with Cargill’s Canadian agricultural division, AgHorizons Canada, to upgrade Vancouver’s automation platform, including advanced control, visualization and reporting functionality. The new platform will bring redundancy, modern technology and system stability, and will position the Vancouver Grain Terminal systems for future extension and connectivity to a new SAP based enterprise system. The terminal is considered as the most complex and most downtime sensitive site for the business unit, making this project of critical importance to Cargill.
In addition to this new project, Brock has worked closely with Cargill stakeholders for the last several years, working on a number of initiatives in the real-time, Manufacturing Operations Management space.
