SmartLoad assists with the tracking of cargo and other barcoded commodities throughout an airline’s organization. Commodity handlers use hand held terminals to scan items as they are loaded onto aircraft, creating a detailed, real-time record of all cargo, mail, materials and other commodities on each flight, allowing them to be tracked throughout their journey.

Additionally, SmartLoad ensures that flights are loaded according to the Weight and Balance (WAB) plan. SmartLoad receives load plans from the WAB system and as baggage handlers load the flight, the weight limits for each container will be enforced via real-time Load Exceptions.

SmartLoad Cargo Reconciliation and Tracking

SmartLoad’s Cargo Reconciliation solution tracks and validates the loading and unloading of cargo on and off flights, and provides accurate records of all cargo loaded onto every flight. Detailed operations dashboards track loading exceptions and issues so they can be corrected prior to flight closure.

Cargo Tracking allows handlers to scan incoming and outgoing cargo in order to track and validate the locations and actions of handlers as they move cargo throughout the airport.

SmartLoad Mail Reconciliation and Tracking

SmartLoad’s Mail Reconciliation solution tracks and validates the loading and unloading of mail on and off flights, and provides accurate records of all mail loaded onto every flight. Detailed operations dashboards track loading exceptions and issues so they can be corrected prior to flight closure.

Mail Tracking allows handlers to scan incoming and outgoing mail in order to track and validate the locations and actions of handlers as they move mail throughout the airport.

SmartLoad Commodity Grouping

Configure commodity groups with specific validation rules and preform tracking, validation, and bulk actions for commodity in flexible groups. The flexibility of Grouping allows for higher visibility of commodities on the ramp and throughout the airport.

SmartLoad Load Planning Integration

Ensure all flights are loaded according to the Weight and Balance (WAB) plan. Real-time load exceptions alert users as bags and cargo are loaded to ensure that the weight and balance plan for the flight is not exceeded.

Baggage and cargo counts are updated in in real-time as flights are loaded, eliminating the need for manually updating the WAB system.
